Icona was asked to design the concept for an IT company based in Italy but operating throughout Europe. The concept aimed to have a reproducible design in order to follow a unique European communication line. The objective was to create modern, functional working environments that inspire innovation and collaboration. The concept revolves around the harmony between aesthetics and technology, using design solutions that integrate sustainable materials, intelligent lighting and ergonomic furniture. The spaces will be divided into flexible work areas equipped with adjustable and wired workstations for agile work, state-of-the-art meeting rooms for physical and virtual meetings, and relaxation areas designed to stimulate employees' well-being. The design focuses on colour palettes that reflect the corporate brand, glass surfaces to promote transparency, and sound-absorbing panels to improve acoustics. The technological approach includes the implementation of domotic systems to manage lighting, air conditioning and security, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort. This refitting is intended to be not only an aesthetic update, but also a strategic step towards a working environment that favours productivity and innovation.
